Two new units under development on Kingsway Business Park
Wilson Bowden Developments has partnered up with Cabot Properties to deliver the next phase of speculative units on Kingsway Business Park, marking with it the first collaboration between the parties to meet the increasing demand in Rochdale and the broader North West region.
Main Contractor Glencar Construction has been appointed to deliver the new industrial/ warehouse project, featuring two units of 87,000 sq.ft. and 116,500 sq.ft. With construction activity now underway, the units are set to be completed by the end of 2024.

Highlighting sustainability, the units will feature PV panels, 10% electric vehicle charging spaces, LED lighting, and aim for an ECP 'A' rating and BREEAM 'Very Good' status.
The units will be available for lease through B8 Real Estate who advised Cabot Properties on the transaction.
The Kingsway Partnership, is a joint venture involving Wilson Bowden Developments, Rochdale Development Agency, Rochdale Borough Council, and Homes England, reflecting Rochdale's commitment to providing cutting-edge facilities, fostering sustainable growth, and contributing to the economic vitality of the region. The park is already home to big names including Asda, JD Sports, Amazon, Danish Crown, E-on UK and Dachser.
